Job Description

Workshop Manager We have a long and successful history spanning over 35years within the civil contracting industry. Specializing in bulk earth works, quarry overburden removal, dam construction and upgrades, wetland construction and major civil works. We are continuing to grow every day! To be considered for this role you MUST be an experienced/qualified Workshop Manager with heavy diesel experienceanda proven track record working with heavy earth moving machinery. You MUSThave excellent leadership skills and be able to carry out repairs, on-site maintenance, servicing and attend to breakdowns on a wide range of plant including but not limited to CAT, Volvo and Hitachi, general knowledge of other brands wouldbe advantageous. You will maintain and coordinate and extensive fleet of Plant and light vehicles. The successful applicant will possess the following attributes: Ability to lead a team and drive continuous improvement Be physically fit Posess excellent communication skills Have a basic knowledge of ,microsoft word, excel and email Be reliable and self-motivated Hold a valid drivers licence Available to work 5 6 days per week The role would be based at Hastings but you would also be required at times to attend our otherjob sites located predominantlyin the South East.
