Job Description

Water Monitoring Officers WorkPac are currently looking for Water Monitoring Officers for the Leeton area in NSW. This position is a permanent role with an attractive salary package. The successful candidate would be responsible for the operation and maintenance of water monitoring sites and equipment to enable the collection, management and dissemination of accurate water monitoring data, ensuring accuracy and quality for all stakeholders and to put safety first. You must have the necessary work history and qualifications to be considered for the roles. These are: Undergraduate degree or Diploma of Water Industry Operations (hydrography), Science, Engineering, Asset Management or equivalent experience in an appropriate field A current NSW Drivers Licence Strong swimming experience Computer literacy and ability to interpret data, work with specialist databases and monitor network performance Awareness of and interest in natural resource management, particularly water Have the ability to time manage and schedule Confident to work autonomously and as part of a team The Key Accountabilities for this role are: Safety Delivery of Water Monitoring Program Water Data Collection and Verification Field Equipment Management Data processing Water Quality Sampling Data Provision Why work for WorkPac Looking after our employees is important to us.
