Job Description

Travel Product Coordinator RAC Travel is one of WAs most well respected and successful Travel agency networks. We are looking for a dynamic Travel Product Development Officer to source great value International and Domestic travel offers for promotion to RACs members for booking via our Online, Call Centre and Travel Agency network. The role involves huge variety, working closely with a market leading Travel business and offers excellent personal growth opportunities. What will you be doing The role will be responsible for on-going development and expansion of our International and Domestic travel portfolio performance including managing growth with our preferred Airline, preferred wholesaler and land partners. Responsible for introducing new products & build on existing product ranges to meet changing consumer demands Maintenance of RAC travel website with up to date and relevant offers for our audience Negotiation/contracting to source RAC exclusive travel offers with key partners for distribution to our membership Sourcing and delivery to market travel offers via RAC Horizons magazine, Press, EDM, direct mail and other key promotional channels Ensuring frontline travel consultants have excellent product training and engagement with RAC Travels preferred partners and offers in market Responsible for performance of our Escorted group program from the creation of unique itineraries to their sale and promotion across various marketing channels This opportunity is offered on a six month maximum term contract basis. What we are looking for in you Strong knowledge of travel industry, products, sales trends and key suppliers Proven travel product experience with travel package construction and pricing skills Ability to influence and manage key stakeholders and their expectations particularly with key preferred suppliers Strong attention to detail and Excellent communication skills both written and verbal We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete an online automated video interview as part of our screening process.
