Sales Technical Sales Engineer
Reporting to the Area Sales manager, the role of Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing new client development initiatives through comprehensive research and solution selling techniques within the mineral processing space.
Our client are a major supplier of mineral processing equipment into the mining industry globally. With an impressive product range and a strong history of providing clients with complete mining solutions, they have been growing significantly over the past couple of years.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Proactively identify and lead the end-end conversion of strategic business development and commercial opportunities to meet business objectives Develop and maintain key relationships across WAs Mining industry - with a focus on the Pilbara region Lead the continuous development of business and commercial skills and methods within the business Develop strategies for top accounts which maximise partnership opportunities Sound business acumen with the ability to make commercially viable business decisions High attention to detail, accuracy and strong time management skills Provide a technical understanding of mill liners, screen media and process equipment
A successful candidate will have: Strong commercial and technical background with significant experience in product development ideally within a Mining or Mechanical field - engineering degree is ideal An entrepreneurial approach with a demonstrated ability in the implementation of complex projects, and product solutions You will be able to set and achieve goals, prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and manage heavy workloads You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills to allow for a collaborative approach to addressing challenges, solving problems and establishing rapport with key stakeholders at all levels including site
