CHPP PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - DAWSON MINE Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising the production crew to safely deliver the annual coal production plan by optimising activities and continually improving the performance of the Coal Handling Processing Plant. Your core function will be to manage the performance of your production crew, deliver against agreed targets and schedules, while ensuring that jobs are completed in a safe and efficient manner. This will involve significant interaction with maintenance personnel and supervision of maintenance activities as required. As the key production interface at the CHPP you will be accountable for effectively managing the performance of the production crew including contractors and maintenance personnel when required. You will ideally possess a trade and/or suitable qualifications in line with coal processing, S123, G2 and significant experience within a coal processing plant environment,and have previous experience in leadership roles, as well as a thorough understanding and proven capabilities in driving opportunities for continuous improvement. SAP experience would be advantageous. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to influence and achieve stakeholder buy in, and a solid understanding of the coal mining process and relevant mining legislation will be highly regarded.
