TES is going through an exciting period of change. With a new leadership team and renewed vision, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of the Yatala production facility.
About the role:
A hands-on Manager, you will be responsible for a growing team across 3 areas of production. A mix of recycling and IT renewal, you will drive your team, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills in order to engage your team to continually drive improvements and KPIs whilst considering areas of safety, quality, cost & people. In addition, you will have the opportunity to influence the improvement of current processes and introduce new systems that will help to propel the site forward.
Reporting to the ANZ Production Manager, requirements of the role include: Leading the warehouse team to maximise service and efficiency levels Ensuring customer expectations are met and allprocedures are followed Ensuring a safe working environment includingupdating risk assessments and safe work procedures Assisting with the development of new warehouse initiatives and procedures Implementing new warehouse initiatives and procedures Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and tidiness Planning and prioritising workload to improve efficiencies Monitor and report on Warehouse Key Performance Indicators. Organise transport for product pickup Delivering within the budgeted labour costs of all permanent and casual staff in the department Actively developing a positive culture amongst the team - driving a safety first and customer-centric focus Ensuring the highest possible KPIs are achieved, in line with company expectations Well-developed experiences in managing, mentoring and supervising staff The ability to work under pressure and maintain quality outcomes Strong problem-solving aptitude The ability to lead teams through change
Skills & Experience Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time Production Supervisor\Manager IT or Recycling industry desirable Autonomous Strong Computer skills for reporting, scheduling, management of production Well developed organisational and prioritisationskills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail
Worklife balance is a focus at TES; this position is Monday to Friday - 7am 4pm.
