The Procurement and Contracts team have four new key business streams which are the P&C Management team, P&C Excellence team, P&C Strategic Procurement team and the P&C Support team.
Responsible for the optimisation of the tendering and contracting assistance provided to business units in regard to lower value and risk Level 3 and below sourcing events. Work in a close and collaborative manner with the Strategic Sourcing team to assist where required with the higher value and risk Level 4 and 5 sourcing events and provide integrated solutions to business units. Assist business units with contract amendment support as required, as well as specific contract administration activities.
Develop strategic stakeholder relationships within business units in order to plan for contract expiries, secure early engagement into relevant Level 3 and below sourcing events, confirm business requirements, build understanding of relevant processes and work collaboratively to meet project targets.
Provide independent review and advice where required on Level 3 and below procurement packages ensuring all optimisation opportunities are undertaken and value for money is achieved.
Work closely with the Category Managers to promote and deliver Level 3 and below sourcing activities aligned with category strategies to achieve agreed outcomes, high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and no adverse audit outcomes.
Co-ordinate and provide assistance to business units in regard to the conduct of Level 3 and below sourcing events and contract finalisation activities. Prepare relevant documents, facilitate the issue to market and receipt of documents, manage supplier queries, support tender evaluation, and negotiate contract terms as required delivering exceptional customer service.
Direct the finalisation and execution of contracts resulting from the Level 3 and below sourcing exercises.
Assist and participate in national Level 3 and below commercial and contract negotiations as required by the General Manager Procurement and Contracts.
Support and deliver any other types of sourcing, tender and contracting activity as directed by Management.
Assist business units with contract amendment support as required, as well as specific contract administration activities such as Appian Vendor Request Checks, insurances / securities not in Avetta and general vendor creation and management.

They will be analytical with high attention to detail, and be capable of working to tight deadlines. The preferred candidates will be required to consent to a National Criminal History Check.
