Job Description

Parking Officer (x4) Work 8 days on and 6 days off (76-hour fortnight) Permanent Positions $65,000 74,000 per annum (inclusive of 20% loading) + superannuation Waverley is a diverse and innovative Council located in the heart of Sydneys Eastern Suburbs. With a broad range of services, programs and initiatives, Waverley is one of the leading local government areas in NSW. Taking in some of Sydneys most beautiful beaches including the world famous Bondi Beach, and encompassing part of Sydneys global economic corridor at Bondi Junction, Waverley Council is an amazing place to broaden your career. In these positions you will improve parking amenity and safety for residents, ratepayers and visitors to the Waverley area through regular patrols and presence in the community. You will promote the Councils public image by providing quality customer service in accordance with the Councils values. The successful applicants must possess excellent communication skills and strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers. You must be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy working in a team environment. A NSW Higher School Certificate (or equivalent) and current class C drivers licence are also essential. Successful applicants will also be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check. Previous work experience in a regulatory/enforcement environment and knowledge of parking regulations is desirable.
