IG Design Group is a fast growing, wholesale supplier of general merchandise products to leading national retailers across Grocery, Mass, Department Stores, DDS and Value Chains. Think greeting cards, gift wrap, party supplies and Christmas products to name a few. The company is seeking an Account Executiveto be a part of the National Accounts team.IG Design Group is an innovative, design lead business that continues to grow year on year by developing strong relationships with Australias leading FMCG retailers. Our customer base is a whos who across the ANZ retail sector, supplying product across multiple customer channels.We are a hardworking and fun company that loves to deliver innovative, low cost products to our customers to WOW them! Based in Melbourne,we are looking for an Account Executive to join the team and drive further growth in our National retailers. But this isnt your standard sales role, you will need to manage products from creation to delivery with an amazing team around you.Key Responsibilities: Prepare tenders and briefs to develop sales within our existing customer base Managing everyday and seasonal product programs across multiple product categories Developing business strategies to deliver against targets. Key Requirements: Proven ability to achieve sales and margin budgets Self-motivated, energetic and confident leader Strong understanding of customers and market dynamics Ability to manage multiple categories, a high volume of multiple tasks and to adhere to deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage internal and external relationships, together with strong negotiating and numerical skills. As a member of the National Sales team, you will report to the Commercial Director and will work closely with your peers in Product Development and Design, to deliver our customers with everyday and seasonal product programs. Additionally you will work with our logistics and inventory teams to ensure we achieve DIFOT targets. You will have a collaborative approach with your peers, staff and customers and your style is described as entrepreneurial, influential, supportive, action orientated and hands-on. You will ensure the business maximises revenue and profitability with your customer through strategic business planning, forecasting, timely reviews and a strong customer focus.To be successful, you will have sales and/ or product experience in FMCG or General Merchandise sectors. You will have a sound understanding of the current needs and demands of National Retailers and have delivered strong results in previous roles.
