The Cottesloe Beach Hotel has an opportunity for a Hotel and Events Administrator to join this dynamic and hardworking team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office reception, hotel bookings, functions assistance and general administration tasks for the General Manager. This role is hands-on; customer focused, and requires a person who can work on their own and as part of a team to help in meeting and maintaining brand standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Effective coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departures to achieve a reputation as a market leader in the hotel industry
Responding to guest feedback in an efficient and proactive manner and implementing changes to prevent re-occurrence
Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved
Managing customer relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guests
Accurate reporting, accounts and invoicing
Part of your role will be assisting the functions & events manager with basic enquiries and bookings as well as daily events admin tasks and adhoc projects.
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:
Previous experience in a similar customer service environment and similar role within hotel reception, front office or an events administration position
In depth knowledge of front office/reception standards and procedures
Authentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills
Impeccable grooming and presentation
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite of products
Experience with Opera a must
Available to work a flexible roster and assist with events as required
Previous hospitality experience is a MUST.
