Saltbush is currently looking for a site supervisor working 8:6 to manage the day to day operations of a on and off-road haulage, earthmoving and mining services provider in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.
Reporting to the Project Manager and working with the other site supervisor of the project you will be responsible for the coordination and management of all hands-on aspects of the operations of this 24-hour site, including: Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships whilst managing those relationships daily; Perform, control and maintain the daily supervision of all personnel on site; Helping managing rostering of employees; Demonstrating leadership capability through personal demonstration of appropriate leadership behaviours and company values which result in an engaged and committed workforce; Undertake regular on the job observations, coaching and advice to employees to assist in their safety development; Incident reporting and investigation
The successful applicant will possess the following: Experience in a Bulk Haulage and Earthmoving Environment; Ability to communicate and manage client expectations; Excellent communication and engagement skills; Professional and positive approach to all matters; Demonstrated operational management or supervision experience within the mining industry; A passion for safety and demonstrated success in developing and leading teams with a strong safety culture.
