Field Service Technician Electrician AGV Field Service Position Global leaders in automation Good $$$ This is an exciting opportunity for a maintenance technician/electrician to join our close-knit AGV Customer Service team, based in their Northern Beaches office. The role involves servicing/commissioning the AGVs throughout there network of clients across the country and potentially overseas. The right candidate is customer focused, experts in providing high quality service, technically experienced in trouble shooting, problem solving and has a passion for automation and technology. You will be joining an experienced, growing team who are leaders in the automation field. Key responsibilities include; Responsible for repairing, maintaining, upgrading and keeping the customer AGVs optimally operational Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment servicing needs and ensure quality of output Assist the AGV teams with ongoing support requirements and projects Be a champion of Health and Safety compliance and adopting quality standards of continued improvement Travelling to customer sites locally, interstate and occasionally overseas when required Able to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customers Participate in the support on-call roster What we are looking for The successful applicant will have; A full unrestricted electrical license or restricted electrical workers license Candidates that have completed technical courses in industrial automation/instrumentation and control or similar disciplines are highly regarded Exposure to automation and PLC experience is highly regarded Previous trades experience in automation, warehousing and manufacturing environments Must have current driver license Good computer literacy skills Strong problem solving abilities and solution focused Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills Candidate that is career development driven and committed team player This is a rare opportunity to move into the Automated Guided Vehicles industry, where an attractive wages are on offer, as well as outstanding career opportunities which may include formal technical development opportunities to further enhance your career as a professional and specialist within our team.
