The facilities are state of the art, ensuring that all students have what they need to be successful learners.The primary role of the Educator will be to support and collaboratively work with the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator to lead a team of educators, and to oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of the daily routines, menus and programs ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of children in our care. Opportunities to progress your career
To be successful, you will need:
A Cert 111, Cert IV, Diploma or higher-level qualification in child services or education or equivalent eg psychology, nursing, fitness, Human/community services or actively working towards
To be looking for a long-term career in childrens services
Have a working knowledge of current child care regulations and the National Quality Framework or the ability to learn quickly.
Team Work: Showcase strong leadership abilities while supporting a team of Educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment and engagement.
Inter-personal skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and well-developed emotional intelligence.You must be a reliable and outgoing person who has lots of initiative.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to delegate, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain;
A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check);
Hours of work are varied and include split shifts during term time:
6.00am - 9.00am Before School Care
2.00pm - 6.30pm - After School Care
Various shifts during Vacation Care
You must be available 4 days a week Monday to Friday, both mornings and afternoons
