Diesel &/or Refrigeration Technician | Western Suburbs

  • ARE YOU:-

  • A qualified diesel mechanic who already has, or is willing to, learn refrigeration mechanics
  • Or, perhaps you are a qualified refrigeration mechanic who already has or is willing to learn diesel mechanics
  • Qualified in Automotive Mechanical Trades
  • DO YOU:-

  • Have experience working within the Transport Industry and/or working on commercial vehicles
  • Enjoy the variety of work andtechnical variety a successful SME can offer, ranging from workshop, breakdown to on-site repairs, maintenance and assembly (candidate to commence in workshop)
  • Like to chase flexible start & finish Saturday over-time and rotational on-call work (on-call not applicable initially whilst in training) in exchange for attractive penalty rates

We are now on the lookout to nowhand-pickour next Service Technician for a role which will bring a great deal of technical variety and diversity to keep workers engaged and learning.

    The role, based N/W Suburbs; will involve both field, service and workshop duties, trained/based in their workshop for 3-6 months (depending on experience) until full training is complete. Saturday work is extensive during summer and steady in winter and offers the candidate capacity to earn very attractive penalty rates on a regular basis and where possible; negotiable start times through managers who understand thebalance between work deadlines and staff flexibilityso candidates can work around their weekend commitments. If successful, you will diagnose problems, attend to breakdowns and provide the necessary standard services.

    You will use your Mechanical, Electrical and Refrigeration skills and knowledge combined with your knowledge and understanding of the transport industry to compliment a busy working environment.Candidates withautomotive mechanical trade skills would be of the highest regard to the business.

  • Thermo King Knowledge/Experience in any capacity
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • C Licence
  • Truck Licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Electrical Licence Restricted
