Customer Service Officer - Local Government

On behalf of this Local Council in the Inner suburbs, Charterhouse are recruiting a Customer Service Officer to assist within this busy departmentfor 3 months. This is a temporary opportunity working full time hours Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing customer service solutions within an call centre environment in regards to council assets
  • Building relationships and encouraging the use of the services provided
  • Data entry and other adhoc duties
  • Objection handling
  • Key requirements:

  • Local Government experienced would be preferred
  • Contact centre experience is a MUST
  • Be extremely customer service focused
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Possess superior organisational and time management skills
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Have an intermediate working knowledge of the MS Office suite
