Claims Specialist We have exciting new opportunities available in our Specialist Motor Claims team for people who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers. Use your insurance knowledge and experience to help deliver exceptional customer outcomes in their time of need. As part of the Specialist Motor Claims team our specialisation is management of caravan, motorhome, boat and motorbike claims for AAMI, APIA, CIL, GIO, Shannons and Suncorp, we offer the personalised customer service experience of niche products across all brands. This busy and varied role will see you managing claims post lodgement, coordinating repair and assessment, reviewing and settling policy benefits. Providing support to customers who have experienced loss and/or damage to their vehicle, requiring assistance with contents cover, towing and return home, help with accommodation where the vehicle is their permanent home. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:
  • Point of contact for customers who have experienced loss or damage to their caravan, motorhome, boat or bike
  • Coordinating repair and assessment of customer vehicles liaising with internal and external assessors, repairers, storage facilities
  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service and putting the customer at the heart of all we do for the moments that matter
  • Advise customers of their policy entitlements and settlement as required
  • Take ownership of complex claims, arranging towing of vehicles and reviewing assessor reports
  • Meeting Key Results Areas in line with the overall business objectives
  • Complete administrative duties necessary for your team, working collaboratively with others
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Previous Customer Service experience.
  • Previous insurance claims experience with a track record for delivering results
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to listen
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with a willingness to contribute to workplace improvement and changes
  • Strong administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim, proactively looking to provide solutions for our customer
