Due to significant growth of the company resulting from the successful execution of our strategic plan, we are looking for an experienced innovative CFO to drive the business to the next level while still overseeing the financial functions and profitability of the Company. What is my role there The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for financial, accounting, audit and fiscal aspects of the Company as well as the coordination of supporting information systems and financial controls. As a key member of the Executive team, the CFO will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company financial health. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing. You are a forward thinker and have the courage and vision to address issues with creativity and innovation while still maintaining the fundamentals already in place. You are politically savvy and understand when to involve key stakeholders and partnerships to help leverage strategic decisions to the success of the company. Ideally you will have:
  • Experience in a senior finance position with commercial expertise across taxation, compliance, governance, risk, analysis and reporting.
  • Expertise to provide commercial advice and offer strategic business intelligence
  • Proficiency in the design and development of finance strategies
  • A proactive self-starter attitude with strong leadership and mentor skills
  • Tertiary qualifications with CPA/CA accreditation
  • Energised and supportive work approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a dynamic environment
