Business Development Manager/Sales Manager-Building Products Dynamic, energetic & self-motivated BDM to join a successful growing Team Attractive Salary Package HIA Australian Green Smart Award Winner 2018 About the Employer Our clients mission is to find the most innovative products overseas and distribute them across multiple channels to successfully grow and target new business. Our client is a specialist in providing time and labour saving construction products and materials that have a proven track record overseas. About the Role The role is responsible for managing all sales functions within NSW and QLD. NSW will represent approx. 75% of the workload. This role will promote products to existing and new customers. Sales are via wholesale development however relationships are with end users for education and promotion purposes. A combination of Business development and account management will be required. Interstate travel will be required approx. 1 week per qtr. to Queensland. Key responsibilities will include: Identify and develop new and sustainable revenue sources and manage existing ones for growth Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts and clients and build profitable business relationships Develop and define new opportunities for expanding product offering into new categories Ensure all potential leads / prospects are exhausted as become available Ensure full product offering is represented correctly with all stakeholders Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve budgets and targets Regularly review and report on sales performance, sales forecasts and market trends Develop and implement new product initiatives launches as required with new and existing client base Oversee sales systems and process and recommend and implement improvements where required Fully understands all product USP and the benefits clients receive from our products and services Develop research to gain insights and competitive edge for all markets operating in To be successful for this role you must have the following: Demonstrate numerical and analytical ability On road sales experience Effective problem solver and decision maker Strong negotiation and excellent engaging presentation skills Proven and strong Customer focus Excellent organization, time management and multitasking skills Confident computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet) Ability to multitask and operate independently Ability and experience in using a CRM Demonstrated or proved BDM tasks exceeded If you have experience in selling products into a similar client base, with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach and you can demonstrate a successful track record in proactively growing sales pipelines and delivering results, and the ability to adapt in a fast changing work environment.
