Job Description

Automotive Apprenticeship - Heavy Vehicle AGA is seeking an individual to undertake a Heavy Stream Automotive Apprenticeship to work with a Local Council based in Hadfield. Responsibilities: Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel and petrol/gas-powered cars, trucks, mowers, chainsaws etc. Detect mechanical and electrical faults Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines Replace and repair faulty parts Requirements: Enjoy practical and manual work Mechanical aptitude Drivers licence (preferred) Pre Apprenticeship (preferred) Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Medical Genuine interest in heavy stream automotive AGA Apprentices will: Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training Receive ongoing mentoring & support Receive a weekly wage including entitlements Obtain personal protective equipment AGA is a not for profit company and is one of the largest providers of employment and training services in Australia.
